4D Viewer Module

Explore your dataset in 3D by displaying just some or all channels, adjusting the transparency, color, and level of detail of each channel, and showing the volume or isosurface of channels. Spin, rock, rotate, and zoom in on the 3D display to investigate your data from all angles. Interactively slice through planes to peer into the various structures and layers of your images. Easily move through time points using the filmstrip and view the sequence as a movie.

Fiber Tracing Application Module

The patent-pending Fiber Tracing Application Module differentiates fibers that cross over each other from fibers that branch from one another and makes sense of the entangled webs inherent to most fiber structures. Measurements include fiber length, width, straightness, angle, and intensity, as well as identification of the “children” fibers that stem from “parent” fibers. 

The Fiber Tracing module supports a wide range of applications,
from the study of elongated organisms such as C. elegans
and bacteria, to cytoskeleton investigations and angiogenesis analyses.

Neurite Tracing Application Module

Neurite Tracing Application Module quickly segments and measures overlapping neurons and their outgrowths in an image acquired with one wavelength. In addition, the module can be used to identify spines, perform a Sholl Analysis to obtain precise data about neuron outgrowth patterns, and identify nuclei in images acquired with a nuclear stain. Windows 7 operating system is required. MetaMorph NX Software runs under 32- and 64-bit operating systems. Please note, not all hardware drivers are compatible with 64-bit systems.
