0.5 ml, 1.5 ml and 2.0 ml microcentrifuge tubes

Our microcentrifuge tubes are manufactured from high-clarity polypropylene, it is available 3 volume of 0.5, 1.5 and 2.0 ml, their engraved graduation ensure accuracy. Flat and frosted caps surface together with smooth and frosted body surface provide easy and legible mark. Maximum rotate speed up to 16000 x g, and autoclavable at 121°C and freezable at -80°C. They are sterililized, package in easy opening plastic bags.

5.0 ml microcentrifuge tube

The new 5 ml MacroTubes^TM take all of the conveniences of standard 1.5 ml tubes and scales them up for larger volumes. These polypropylene tubes come with an attached cap that not only provides a tight, leak proof seal, it can also be effortlessly opened or closed with one hand. The cap is designed to provide a secure seal from -86°C to +80°C. CapLock Clips^TM are available to maintain the integrity of the seal at extreme temperatures. In incubated/heated applications, it may be "boiled" for up to 10 minutes. At temperatures above 80°C, the use of the CapLock Clip^TM is recommended.

The center of the cap also has a special thin "membrane" area that is designed for easy puncture and access by a syringle/needle. Once punctured, the opening can also be useful for venting the internal pressure caused by incubation at moderately high temperatures.

The tubes are made of maximum clarity, low-binding virgin polypropylene and are certified RNase & DNase free. Sterile tubes are also pyrogen free. They are sized to be compatible with centrifuges, dry bath block heaters, tube racks and thermal shakers/vortexers.

The 16mm tube diameter is identical to the diameter of standard 15ml tubes, which ensures further compatibility with centrifuge rotors, etc. In many applications, these tubes have replaced 15ml tubes, dramatically reducing plastic waste, storage space and shipping costs. The potential contamination of pipettor shafts is greatly reduced because the 56mm total tube length (vs. 120mm for standard 15ml tubes) is short enough for standard 1 ml or 5 ml tips to reach the tube's conical bottom.
